Four Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested for Illegal Stay, Document Fraud in Bengaluru


Bengaluru – On Friday, Karnataka Police arrested four individuals of Bangladeshi nationality residing illegally on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Authorities allege the individuals had been living in the city for an extended period and possessed forged documents intended to portray them as Indian citizens.

The accused individuals are reported to have fraudulently obtained a passport by presenting falsified documents. Acting upon received intelligence, police conducted raids leading to the arrest of all four Bangladeshi nationals.

During the arrests, police seized multiple forged government documents including an Aadhaar card, caste certificate, ration card, Ayushman card, labour card, and a voter identity card.

A formal case has been registered at the Sadduguntepalya police station, located on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Police have vowed to dismantle the network that assisted these individuals in acquiring fraudulent government identification.
