KANPUR – In an effort to boost cooperation and modernization within India's armed forces, Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS), Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, conducted a comprehensive tour of government and private defence production facilities in Kanpur. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the military and the manufacturing sector to enhance the nation's defence capabilities.

During the visit, VCOAS Lt Gen Dwivedi received detailed briefings and interacted with the heads of several key facilities, including MKU Ltd, Defence Materials & Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Troop Comforts Limited (TCL), Ordnance Parachute Factory, and Advance Weapons & Equipment India Ltd (AWEIL).
