Killer Drones in the Sky: Russian Su-57 Fighter Jet Gets an AI-Powered Wingman

Hold on to your hats, aviation enthusiasts! Russia's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) just unveiled a game-changing weapon: an air-launched drone designed to team up with the country's top-of-the-line Su-57 fighter jet. This isn't your average remote-controlled toy, though. This little guy boasts some serious smarts.

Imagine this: You're a Su-57 pilot soaring through the sky. Suddenly, you need some backup to take down a target on the ground. Instead of risking your own jet, you unleash your trusty drone wingman. Here's where things get interesting. This drone can actually think for itself! Packed with cutting-edge technology like neural networks, it can identify targets and even decide whether to attack on its own.

But wait, there's more! This drone can also work with you, the pilot. Want to get a closer look at something suspicious before you commit? The drone can fly ahead and send back real-time intel. Think of it as a super-powered scout, giving you the upper hand in any situation.

This Drone's Packed with Punch

The details about this high-tech drone are still under wraps, but leaks suggest it'll be a real force to be reckoned with. It can carry different types of warheads depending on the mission, and it's equipped with fancy navigation and targeting systems to hit the bullseye every time. Imagine a tiny, robotic teammate that can take out ground targets or enemy recon units - pretty impressive, right?

Drone Docking: The Future of Flight?

This isn't the only drone-related news coming out of Russia. Apparently, they've also been working on a special docking system for aircraft. This means planes could launch, store, and even capture drones mid-air! Imagine a fighter jet that carries a whole swarm of these little attack drones – that'd be a sight to see (and maybe a little scary!).

Drones Take Flight Around the World

It's not just Russia that's getting in on the drone action. Countries like the United States and China are also developing their own drone technology.

Military strategists around the world see the potential of drone swarms to change the face of warfare. The ability to launch and control these unmanned vehicles from the air adds a whole new dimension to combat possibilities.

So, what does this all mean?

The world of aviation is on the cusp of a major transformation. With AI-powered drones and innovative docking systems, the way we wage war (and maybe even regular air travel) could be forever altered. It's an exciting time to be a tech enthusiast, but it also raises some important questions about the future of warfare.

Absolutely and positively no more Russian SU-57 fighter or any other Russian fighters.
If SU-57 is so good, then Russia would have air superiority in the first few weeks of Ukraine war.

The only Acquistions that I favor are -
  1. 12 SU-30MKIs to replace the attrition fighters in Super Sukhoi configuration.
  2. 21 Mig-29UPGs finished in Russia but all avionics installed in IAF BRDs.
  3. Upgrading all of SU-30MKIs with useful lives to Super Sukhois version
These tasks must be done sooner rather than later to prepare for impending two fronts war.

India should buy atleast 3 to 4 sqad of Su-57 , AMCA platform may take time to mature by the Time India Need 5th Gen Fighter.

Who knows, they might go for few of this, we never know, we will know right after the election, if MRFA gets dragged again or cancelled that means they are going for G2G purchase of this, even IAF talked about going for a 5th gen platform rather than expensive 4th gen platform that will soon reach it’s obselence.

Why would India purchase a fake fifth gen plane when IAF ditched it after spending $300 million plus on it? If the deficiencies were addressable IAF would have stuck to it. But IAF chose to go ahead with MRFA instead of Su57, which clearly shows that the plane is beyond redemption and will never ever be bought by us. In fact, even Russia has reduced order size by over 70% and is buying Su35.

Einstein figured out it is fake 5th gen jet just by looking at the picture.

Not according to IAF and other defense experts worldwide.

Definitely as per the IAF. Else they wouldn’t have left it after spending 300 million dollars on it. And even as per experts. That’s why Russia has cut down its orders and no one else has bought anything, except a tentative deal with Armenia for 12 planes. So everyone across the world agrees that this plane doesn’t deserve a penny.

I figured it out based on actual performance. India backed out despite investing 100s of millions. Russia cut down order size by 70%. No export orders except a tentative agreement with its Armenia for 12 planes. All proves that this planes is not worth giving a single penny.

That is strategy, no body left anything, it is still far superior than obsolete $300Mln+ 4th gen tech on any day especially with stealth engine.

India has surely left FGFA while purchasing Rafale twice. And Russia has surely cut down on orders while ordering more 4th gen planes. Can’t say about others or if you have a vested propaganda to spread.

Well IAF asked for 126. IN also chose them. We all know who has a vested interest to make sure our military doesn’t get its favorite plane.

Indeed, everyone knows who has a vested interest in making sure our forces don’t get their favorite weapons and shell out billions extra in buying outdated useless weapons.
