GalaxEye Partners with IN-SPACe, Gets Access to ISRO's Laboratories and Testing Facilities

GalaxEye, an innovative Indian space-tech startup specializing in Earth observation satellites, has entered a significant partnership. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) will grant GalaxEye access to world-class laboratories and testing facilities operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

GalaxEye breaks ground as the first private company to benefit from IN-SPACe's new coworking and testing facilities in Ahmedabad. The company made headlines in 2023 with the development of India's first drone equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Currently, GalaxEye is advancing toward the creation of India's inaugural privately-owned constellation of Earth observation satellites.

Within the coming year, the company plans to launch its flagship "Drishti Mission" satellite. This groundbreaking satellite promises to be India's first and globally the highest-resolution multi-sensor imaging satellite available. GalaxEye's cutting-edge "Drishti Sensor" technology overcomes a key challenge in Earth observation – cloud cover. This enables the capture of high-quality images in any weather conditions. The applications for sectors like security and defense are significant, empowering clients with detailed situational awareness for vital operations such as mission planning, border surveillance, and disaster response.

Suyash Singh, Co-founder and CEO of GalaxEye, expressed enthusiasm about this milestone: "This partnership marks a transformative chapter not only for GalaxEye but for the entire field of space exploration. By collaborating with IN-SPACe and leveraging their state-of-the-art facilities, we are poised to revolutionize the way we gather and analyze data from Earth's orbit."

The collaboration between GalaxEye and IN-SPACe signals a promising era for India's private space sector. It highlights the nation's commitment to fostering technological innovation with the potential to benefit strategic industries and India's position in the global space technology landscape.
